Why should we believe and follow Jesus Christ?
Believing and following Jesus Christ, as a matter of personal choice, emphasizes that the fallen condition of humanity entrenched in the sin and darkness of disobedience to God is redeemable through acceptance of Him. To understand the gravity and severity of our state of being in separation from God, we must consider the sufferings of Jesus Christ who endured the penalty of sin as a sacrifice for us to be spared of the righteous judgment demanded for it. Christ embodies the fullness of God’s acceptance of humanity despite its fallen nature that is driven to sin against Him. By returning to the God of our Creation through acceptance of the truth of His purposes revealed in Jesus Christ, we are made to be partakers of eternal life—a life graced with the presence and power of Christ to live in united fellowship with God.

Questions Regarding Belief in Jesus Christ (No. 1)
Ep. #1 - What does salvation through Jesus Christ consist of?
Believing that He died for your sins and was buried, and that God raised Him from the dead. This is the foundational premise of belief in Jesus Christ. The meaning and significance of this belief is that it accomplishes the work of saving faith that inspires a personal choice to fully trust in God’s purpose accomplished in Christ. This purpose does not abide in human reasoning, rely on carnal persuasion or require self-effort. It is entirely the work of God fulfilled by the gospel of Christ, which affirms that all who believe in Jesus’s sacrifice for their sins and His resurrection from the dead (as the token of their redemption) are saved completely and eternally by God’s grace.
Ep. #2 - What does following Jesus Christ entail?
After believing in Jesus Christ for salvation, it is essential to follow Christ by seeking out the understanding of the doctrine that concerns faith in Him. This engagement is largely mistaken for increasing one’s knowledge about theology, embracing a particular system of church religion, pursuing the role of an ordained minister, or indulging the practice of missionary service. Following Christ entails learning how He (the resurrected Lord ruling from heaven) enjoins us in spiritual fellowship with Him and other believers through the revelatory knowledge of His divine nature and influence. This is accomplished by the inspiration of faith according to doctrinal truth, which further informs, advances and establishes believers in faith by allowing Christ’s Spirit to guide them in everything that they do.
Ep. #3 - Why should we believe and follow Jesus Christ?
Ep. #4 - How is Jesus Christ the only way to heaven?
Jesus is the only living person who was born of God in heaven, sent by God from heaven, and ascended from earth to heaven. These are the markers of His divine authority over all things in heaven and earth and the means by which he declared all things to humanity concerning God’s kingdom. Whether by His own declarations or through the testimony of His messengers, Jesus spoke the words of eternal life that reveal the path to heaven that is found only in Him. All other words, proceeding from the mouths of human flesh, are as lifeless as the body is without the spirit—that even while effectuating purposes cannot produce or sustain life, whether presently or eternally. It is Christ’s words that are both life-giving and life-sustaining, and it is His presence alone that serves as the doorway into God’s heavenly kingdom.
Ep. #5 - What was and is Jesus's ultimate purpose?
Jesus’s initial purpose on earth was to fulfill all that was prophesied in Old Testament Scripture concerning God’s chosen Messiah redeeming the nation of Israel. It was through the Messiah that God would establish a kingdom in Israel on the earth that would be ruled by Him forever. Israel, however, is only one part of a twofold plan. New Testament Scripture reveals Christ as the Savior of Gentiles—a people to whom the covenants, ordinances and promises of Israel were formerly undisclosed, and to this day remain uninherited.
Through Christ, the separation between both was discarded such that Gentiles are made recipients of a promise that is exclusive to them in God’s plan, which is that they rule in the heavens forever as Christ’s heavenly body. By this, all things in both heaven and earth will be restored to God—firstly, with the body of Christ’s catching up into heaven at the appearance of Christ in heaven, and secondly with Israel’s restoration on earth at the second coming of Christ to the earth.
